According to the golf game etiquette you have to look presentable and appropriate clothes is a must. Most private country clubs have a dress code and dressing appropriately shows respect for other golfers and club members. The full history of golf clothing would take a book. One of the most important thing in your golf wardrobe is a golf shoes.  Do not be grudge on a good pair of golf shoes. Sandals or sneakers are not allowed. Comfort and support are worth the money. Another good rule is “no metal spikes”.

Many golfers use golf gloves to control and feel the clubs better, but this detail is not a first-necessity. Golf gloves could be very helpful when the weather is rainy or windy.

Your golf uniform collection should also include the following: golf sweater, golf pullover or vest to keep you warm if the weather is getting colder, waterproof golf clothing to be able to play when it’s wet and lightweight hats to keep the sun off your head and face, it could also improve your vision.  Tommy Bahama, Taylor Made, Ian Poulter, Cobra, Tiger Woods, Callaway – these brands are made the best caps, which one to choose – it’s up to you to decide!

Golf and team sports in Australia?

Our family is considering moving to Australia from the USA. We are amateur golfers and I would continue. Could someone from Down Under gives us some tips on golf there? If a buy a good set of clubs or we do ours? In the states, there are many online stores golf equipment can be bought at good prices. We can buy a nice game for Taylormade USD500. If you want to visit a store to look at the clubs, we go to Sports Authority or Golf Smith or some other. Are there any big sporting goods stores in Australia? Children also I like fishing, basketball, tennis, badminton, so the sporting goods store is one of the first places to go there when we get there. I would appreciate someone with knowledge to give us some ideas.

Hi my name is Andy Brown from GolfSwingSecretsRevealed.com and in this video I would like to talk about the first of the four magic moves. If you have read the free golf swing report or have listened to the audio I give away on the site you will already know that the first magic move is one where you must start the backswing with an early backward wrist break. And as the backward break is one of the key points – I want to be absolutely certain you understand what I mean.

First, hold your right hand in front of you, fingers together and extended, thumb up and the palm squarely facing to the left. From that position bend the hand to the right, trying to make the fingers come back towards the outside of the wrist. You won’t be able to get them anywhere near the wrist, but a person with supple wrists can bend the hand back until they form a right angle. I’m almost there as you can see.

Quite simply this straight back motion of the hand is the backward wrist break. The right hand moves towards the outside of the forearm with no turning or rolling. In Chapter 3 of the report I give away on my site I go into great detail about the perfect golf grip. One that stipulates that at address one is showing only two knuckles of the left hand and one of the right hand.

The right hand must be placed on the club so that the left thumb lies right down the middle of the right palm. This brings the heel of the right hand against the big knuckle at the base of the left thumb. To make the backward wrist break we merely push the heel of the right hand down against the big knuckle of the left thumb. You must place a downward pressure of the heel onto the thumb. When it is done, without moving the hands otherwise, the right hand breaks backward at the wrist and the left hand breaks inward, the back of the left hand going under and facing towards the ground.

An unhurried pace of play results from this opportunity for tee times. There is ample space in front of you and behind you while playing golf in France. Golfers can normally walk in on their own without reservation and make their own tee times at courses in France.

A great holiday golf destination needs the following; good accommodation at a fairly decent price, plenty of bars and restaurants for your evening entertainment. The Loire valley region in France offers great accommodation at a reasonable price, lots of things to see and do and, of course, a multitude of superb courses. This region has been providing a temporary home for golfers from England for the past few years.

One of the Loire Valley’s chief attractions is that usually an impressive, majestic castle overlooks the golf course. It is a visually striking region and one that definitely deserves special attention for any budding photographers out there.

As its names suggests, Chateau de Cheverny is a grand setting for a day’s golf. The course was designed in 1989 and is located among 350 acres of gorgeous woodland, lakes and open countryside for a quite magnificent experience. Ardree, a rolling parkland with natural lakes, is overlooked by a turreted 16th century chateau that is awaiting development. Tourraine is another beautiful course. Although short, its raised small greens make approach shots extremely tough while various natural hazards keep you on your guard at all times.

Les Aisses is another of those European style courses where you can choose from three loops of nine to form your round. Limere Orleans and Chateau des Sept Tours are also not to be missed.

The finest course in the region, however, is Les Bordes, consistently ranked in the top five of France’s best courses. The golf course is thoroughly deserving of its secluded location not far from Chateau Chambord and a work of art. In terms of convenience and cost, Les Bordes is eminently achievable and should rank high on your itinerary.

Built at the behest of the industrialist Baron Marcel Bich (of the Bic empire) and his Japanese trading partner, Mr Yoshiaki Sakurai, Les Bordes was originally dreamt up as a private club for their own pleasure and that of their friends. Leading architect Robert von Hagge was drafted in and handed a simple but determined brief “to create a golf course that would prepare French golfers to play the finest courses in the world without being intimidated”.

Construction began in 1984 and, with money no object – a useful condition in anyone’s contract. Von Hagge’s creation is today the centrepiece of a course that enjoys to the full its charmed position in the Sologne, the ancient lake-studded forest at the heart of the Loire Valley.

In accordance with the owner’s instructions, scrupulous care was taken to minimise disruption to the surroundings, and what was once Bich’s hunting domaine has been blessed with a course that has been ranked as one of the finest – and toughest – in Europe. Best of all, the place retains an air of privilege and privacy, but is without the tiresome airs and graces that can so often put you off a destination.

The risk-reward element is very much the name of the game at Les Bordes, and though the course does open up a good bit on the homeward nine, your ball-striking is tested even more thoroughly, with the slightest errors multiplied the further back you choose to play. Jean van de Velde’s course record of 71 gives you some idea of just how demanding the course is, not that the difficulty should in any way put you off playing here.

Les Bordes is one of only two courses in Continental Europe to enjoy the highest rating in the Peugot Golf Guide to 1000 European courses. All in all, the Loire Valley offers everything the travelling golfer requires.

However when an airplane is part of the itinerary, a hard golf travel bag is a must. The hard shell case bag protects your clubs from being damaged. But they fit nicely on your golf cart when you arrive. These golf bags are considered luggage and not recommended when walking the golf course. However, they are an absolute must when packing your clubs for the airport. Nothing can ruin a golfing vacation more than a broken or bent set of golf clubs.

Golf bags also come in different shapes and sizes with these categories. Ladies and junior golfers certainty have different weight and size requirements than the men.
