U S MASTERS – AUGUSTA

Latest Current odds: 5 / 2
Sky Bet likely to miss cut: 12 / 1

Tiger's record: four wins, twice runner-up, not out of the top six in the last five years at Augusta.

Summary: It's true Woods favorite courses where he enjoyed great success. But there are no favorites and bookmarks. For example, in his last 9 starts at Firestone, which has won an amazing 7 times. At Bay Hill, 6 wins in his last 10 visits including the last two. Augusta, may still be touted as lazy playground Woods, but the bottom line is that in Masters his last seven starts has won only once. Just an era of dominance is. With him are his first major tournament since all hell broke loose in his private life not forests will be massive attention, for all in all I'd be looking to oppose him at that price. As for the 12 / 1 to lose the cut? The worst result of 22 in the 13 times he has played professionally suggests that there is a shift in this phase.

Verdict: top five, but not winning.

U.S. OPEN – PEBBLE BEACH

Latest Current odds: 5 / 2
Sky Bet likely to miss cut: 10 / 1

Tiger's record: Three wins U.S. Open (including the 15-shot win at Pebble in 2000), twice runner-up. He also won AT & T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in 2000.

Verdict: It's still hard to understand how a player can win a major of 15 shots, but Tiger's what he did in Pebble in 2000, while it produced a different kind of magic – back from seven behind with seven to play – to win the U.S. Tour event in the same place earlier that year. From bombing the field on 15, Woods has proved fatal in two subsequent visits to Pebble, finishing 13th in 2001 and 12 in 2002 in the ordinary case of U.S. Tour played there. However, Woods has never enjoyed the Greens annua potholes Pebble Action Plan earlier this season and that's why the event has remained out of its time since 2002. June is a matter different and that even qualified to put T6th rolling on the ground in 2000 (which also hit seven greener than anyone else). Today Woods is the same price to win at Pebble as it is to win at Augusta. I much prefer to support it here.

Verdict: Cattle

OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP – St Andrews

Latest Current odds: 9 / 4
Sky Bet likely to miss cut: 16 / 1

Tiger's record: Three wins and two at Open as a professional in St Andrews. Missed the cut at Turnberry in 2009.

Abstract: "There are some courses you feel comfortable. This is one of them. I like the lines – fit my eyes. "That was Woods after winning five of St Andrews in 2005, five years after he had crushed the field by eight at the home of golf in 2000. Check out the last seven Open winners at St. Andrews – Nicklaus, Nicklaus, Ballesteros, Faldo, Daly, Woods, Woods – and it's pretty obvious that the cream rises to the top there. Tiger has the perfect combination of skills and strategies to flourish in the Old Course, and if it can overcome and keep away from the grid will be obtained from the British tabloids, a third Open triumph at St Andrews beckons.

Verdict: Cattle

U.S. PGA Championship – Whistling Straits

Latest Current odds: 11 / 4
Miss Heaven quota cut: 12 / 1

Tiger's record: four wins and two second places at the end of the main field, but by the 24th tied at Whistling Straits in 2004.

Summary: The Tiger modest finish at Whistling Straits in 2004, needs a bit of context. It was the end of two years bad run in the majors that saw him finish 15th, 20th, 39th, 22th, 17th and 24th in the six major companies based in 2003 and 2004. At Whistling Straits was poor from the tee (hit 52nd Street) and uninspired on the greens (47th). "I feel like I have about 200 putts this week," Woods said later, but actually had 119. With little evidence that it is difficult to follow too strong an opinion about their chances here and much will depend on how it is held in St. Andrews and Pebble. Instinct said to be vulnerable here.

Verdict: It sneaks in five after the slow start.

While the carefully cultivated image of Tiger Woods to the person continues to unravel as he makes front-page news around the world and becomes the butt of jokes, the reputation of the golfer Tiger Woods is still a virgin.

But for how long?

Pulling the World Challenge Chevron last week, Woods denied us a first opportunity to see if there is a direct correlation between the turmoil in his private life and performance in the course.

But even out of season break means he could remain low for now, is only seven weeks to go before the Tour of rotation to U.S. at Torrey Pines – The traditional starting point of the season, Tiger.

Sky Bet released this week as prices Woods of golf takes place next year, while several other bookmakers have a list of 2010 deals Tigre.

Thus, with a focus on the majors, which Check out the hopes Tiger of what makes a year to remember – in the course, at least.

golf odds pga championship

In the absence of the mighty Tiger Woods at the USPGA Championship 2008, Phil Mickelson was firm favourite to lift the Wannamaker Trophy on Sunday (10th) evening, with three majors to his name and recent wins at the Northern Trust Open and Crowne Plaza Invitational.

Unfortunately, the American found himself in seventh place – seven shots behind winner Padraig Harrington.

Padraig Harrington is the first European to lift the trophy since Tommy Armour in 1930 and has entered the record books as the fourth golfer in history to win PGA and Open Championships in the same year.

Harrington’s main rival, Sergio Garcia finished on 2-under 68 to share second place with Ben Curtis – despite starting the final day with a birdie and eagle seeing the Spaniard tie with Padraig after 16 holes.

Bookies favourite Phil Mickelson finished in seventh place – finishing on 4-over 284, whilst third favourite Lee Westwood, who started the championship with high expectations, failed to make the cut after a disappointing first two rounds.

Harrington who started the championship with odds of 16/1 (second favourite) has been associated with Wilson since 1998, having won 61 major championships using Wilson irons; 12 of his 14 golf clubs are Wilson branded and include the following clubs: Wilson Dd6+ driver (8-deg), Wilson FWS 5-wood (18-degree), Wilson Dh6 Hybrid Rescue Wood (19-degree); Wilson Pi7 irons (4-PW) and Wilson Tw7 wedges (55- and 60-degree).

The Sports HQ supplies factory direct golf equipment including complete golf club sets and new golf balls from Wilson Golf – Padraig Harrington’s preferred brand of golf clubs.
