Installing a golf practice net in my garage, what should I do about the flooring so the ball won’t bounce back?

I am installing a sliding golf practice net and impact panel in my garage (hanging it from the ceiling on wire). When we practice we will just pull the cars out and slide the net over. Any ideas on what to do with the garage floor so when the balls hit the net they don’t bounce back on the concrete floor so hard? I still have to park 2 cars in there, so I wouldn’t want to do carpet since we live in Chicago and have way too much slush and snow. Thanks!

What is the cost to build a golf course?

I'm looking to build a single level 40-50 bay driving range. I do not need a club huge. I just want to know how much to level the driving range, construction of the areas hit Bay build a small clubhouse created 150 parking spaces set lighting I am not looking for the cost of balls, mats, nets. only the construction of the foundation.

I think to get a real answer you need to give many details, but in the interest to respond as best I can: The land price is relatively low at this time. Pretty much any video camera made today will work. In fact the one I use is a Sony about 5+ years old.

What are the most important considerations when a builder is building a golf driving range?

Ideally, a driving range Golf should be a learning center. This may include a putting green, practice some shelters, possibly, a place for indoor lessons.

Whenever possible, try to put the training facilities which do not have to put the nets. It's a little more expensive so if we can establish a range simply use the land, is much better.

There are several different types of pitching machines. Of course, all pitching machines help you improve your baseball swing, but each type of pitching machine has a unique function and is optimized for certain use and circumstances.

There are several different types of pitching machines. Of course, all pitching machines help you improve your baseball swing, but each type of pitching machine has a unique function and is optimized for certain use and circumstances. This article discusses the five main types of pitching machines:

1) Baseball pitching machine
2) Softball pitching machine
3) Baseball – softball combo pitching machine
4) Lite ball pitching machine
5) Mini lite ball pitching machine

First, there’s the classic baseball pitching machine. It pitches regular leather baseballs, although most pitching machine manufacturers suggest using dimpled pitching machine baseballs instead. Since they don’t have seams, dimpled pitching machine balls can be pitched with more accuracy and do not wear down the pitching machine wheel as quickly. There is a wide variety of baseball pitching machines: some that throw fastballs only, some that can also throw sliders and sinkers, and some that can even throw curve balls.

Next, there’s the softball pitching machine. Most softball pitching machines can throw both 11-inch and 12-inch softballs. Here again, most manufacturers suggest using seamless, dimpled softballs since they can be thrown more accurately and are easier on the pitching machine wheel. Softball pitching machines generally have the same capabilities as baseball pitching machines in terms of pitch types, speed control, and other features. Really, the main difference is simply the size of the ball the pitching machine can throw.

Baseball – softball combo pitching machines can obviously throw both sizes of ball: baseballs and softballs (11″ and 12″). The pitching machine has a simple setting where you can specify whether you are inserting baseballs or softballs. The pitching machine is basically built to throw softballs (since they are larger), but when you set it to throw baseballs a simple mechanism compensates for the size difference and enables the pitching machine to throw baseballs instead. Baseball – softball combination pitching machines generally cost slightly more than baseball pitching machines and softball pitching machines.

Fourth, there’s the lite ball pitching machines. Lite balls are about the same size as a regular baseball, but they usually weight about one third as much. This makes them ideal for backyard batting practice. You wouldn’t be able to throw a lite ball as fast as you could a regular baseball, but lite ball pitching machines can pitch them just as fast. Many baseball pitching machines are capable of throwing lite balls.

Finally, there’s the mini lite ball pitching machine. Mini lite balls are about the size of a golf ball (approximately a third the size of a baseball) and are (as the name suggests) very light. They can be hit in your garage or even your basement (with enough room). Many baseball players use a mini lite ball pitching machine to improve their form and accuracy. If you can hit a golf-ball-sized ball, you can certainly hit a full-size baseball. Mini lite ball pitching machines are also very inexpensive.

What are the most important considerations when a builder is building a golf driving range?

Ideally, a driving range Golf should be a learning center. This may include a putting green, practice some shelters, possibly, a place for indoor lessons.

The most nice installation practice, will be better positioned to attract new members, especially if you are a private club. It's really a benefit and an advantage. If we can do more than just a driving range, which will serve the golf course as well.

What are the kinds of things to look at when establishing a range Exceptional driving?

In this day and age, with the evolution of technology, we often have to set the range to 330 meters long because people are simply driving the ball much farther than nowadays.

So we started with a driving range, then we would like to create a space on the back of the "T" where we can set up mats. This is useful because sometimes you may need to work in the area of driving and may you want the grass to recover.

We also like to see a good putting area is about 10,000 to 15,000 square feet.

Also encourage some kind of short game facility. That could be another field of practice, that would have some chipping areas, practice a few shelters, some that could hit something 20 to 60 meters.

In general, try to provide some kind of a facility that would allow the implementation of all aspects the game, including: driving, chipping, putting and sand shots.

I am sure that security has to be an important consideration when you are setting these up?

The orientation is important and you must be able to have the space to set it right. In general, I would not have a driving range that had a golf hole or clubhouse or houses on the right side of the range, cutting the hole. So I always try to separate a little.

What no driving range nets?

Whenever possible, try to put the training facilities which do not have to put the nets. It's a little more expensive so if we can establish a range simply use the land, is much better.

What about rank positions are established and design the facility?

There are some common sense issues such as movement in and around the starting area, the things we can do about Lacing tee (pointing to the shirt just left of center), looking at the overall orientation, the prevailing winds, the rising or setting sun. Ideally, we would define the range to the northeast – we do not like pointing directly east or west.

We also like the creation of some vegetables level goal for so that there is something interesting for people to aspire.

What are the considerations for the actual landing area? There may be problems with golf balls taking a beating if the surface of the driving range is not in good condition. Problems such as the rock surfaces, poor drainage, etc.

This is really based on turf quality and maintenance and the building itself. You want to make sure that rocks and debris are removed before set seed in the soil. We must also ensure that you have a medium quality grass hay. Irrigation, fertilizers, maintenance and drainage are important to make sure you have good healthy turf.

Other considerations a developer should consider when you are developing a series of drive?

I think if people are thinking about a practice area which has to be an architect, someone who can work through the development process rather than a driving range, which includes a practice center. Would encourage them to obtain detailed work plans and details of drainage and safety issues.
