I started working out in December 09. Since than until now I lost 10 pounds. I cut out soda completely. I run for at at least 20 minutes during my lunch break, and do a little weights. On Saturday’s I run on the golf course for 4 miles. Sunday are my days off. I take a break. But I see some results, but not as much as I would like. After lifting and doing squats my weight went up. In December of 09 I weighted 172 pounds. The biggest I have ever been. I was always active and never was the skinny type. Now March 2010 I weight 162 pounds. I’m still over weight! What else should I do? I want to get down to 135-140 by summer. I need a lot of work still. Can you please give me tips…
Just make sure you eat healthily, or really just make sure you have the right amount of calories. You do a lot of exercise, so maybe just make some changes to your diet. Slowly cut down perhaps? But tbh if your diet is fine as well then I wouldnt chnag e anythign and just carry on the way you are.You probably have put on muscle as well, so take that inot account when thinking how your not happy with the results. You’ve doen really well so far, just keep it up and dont stop because you think its stopped working because its probably just at that bit where you hit a certain weight and cant lose anymore, just continue and you will sttart to see results again =)
Attempting to play Crazy Golf in the snow at Tea Green Golf, Luton
I bought the Banshee and I’m not getting any consistancy with it. I tend to throw Left handed back hand or righ handed side arm. I also toy with right handed Hammer throw. Granted I am new, but when I played with a friend’s selection I was having better results than I am having with the Banshee. I’m looking for something in the $7 range and Innova seems to be the brand I find most locally. Any advice?
The Innova Valkyrie Distance Driver is GREAT. It will play different from your Banshee, so there might be a slight learning curve. Once you get it down though, you’ll love it. The Millennium JLS 1.4 is great for beginners too, but you’ll grow out of it faster then the Innova.

Golf fitness stretching and golf corollary is an easy way to improve your golf swing. The use of golf exercise training program Golf can improve many aspects of the golf swing and your golf Game. The amateur golfer can improve their ability to execute the golf swing, complete a full shoulder turn, generate more speed than the club head and more accurate shots with improved flexibility. The process of an amateur golfer can improve your flexibility is through installments courses.
Before providing information on what the best stretches for golfer define flexibility. Flexibility refers to the amplitude motion. Is defined as the optimal extensibility of all soft tissues of the body (Michael Clark, Director of the National Academy of Sports Medicine). Biomechanics requires the golfer's swing to swing the club on the correct plane. For the biomechanics of the swing correctly implemented in all muscles, ligaments, and tendon in the body must allow for the optimal joint mobility movement.
Increased flexibility is the benefit of stretching. These benefits occur through the elongation (ie stretching) of soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments). Typically certain muscles in your body are in a shortened position (ie, "tight"), causing restrictions in the golf swing. Course runs (ie, stretching) the muscle relieves the muscles relieves restrictions allowing required range of motion of the golf swing to develop.
Because the golf swing requires a wide range of motion of multiple joints (ankle, hip, spine, and shoulder), I suggest a series of flexibility exercises for the body. Many golfers are "tightness" in the hamstrings, hips, lower and upper back causing restrictions in their range of joint proposals and golf swing. This may require additional courses to help extend the restrictions caused by these muscles.
Standards for sections of golf are simple. A complete series of stretches for golf should be completed at least four times a week. If an individual desires these exercises can be performed daily. In addition to performing golf stretches several times a week, each exercise should be Take each target muscle passively to the point of "tension" and holding the stretch for 30 seconds. Do not "bounce" or "push" the stretch of this can result in injury. Pay strict attention to the technique with each of its sections. It is also recommended warm-up before golf course extends to get more out of each exercise. The following are the sections often recommended for the amateur player, Rotators, 90/90 hamstring, Cats Down, Cats Up, Piriformis, Kneeling hip flexor, openers, permanent calf and foot quadriceps.
Remember how extends to golf fitness exercises and other types of golf can improve many aspects of your swing courses. The placement of golf fitness stretching in a golf training program is a step to improving your golf swing. Consider what is required in terms of body the golf swing, and that one of these is the development of the club through a long range of motion. If your body does not have the flexibility to meet this requirement of the golf swing, the ability to run and efficient golf swing will be compromised.

The following article lists some simple guidelines and information that will help you have a better experience with Golf Drivers.
If you do not have information Golf Drivers accurate, then you can make a bad choice in the matter. Do not let that happen: keep reading.
In golf, the driver is also known as timber 1. It is usually the longest club in the bag and has a larger head. This club used to hit the ball off the tee out of the box, which is where the ball is tee to start playing a hole. Of course, in a short par 3 holes, the driver stays in the bag, and another club would be selected, unless the player had only a yearning to fly the green and blow any chance of a birdie or par.
Now, note that the club known as the driver is not something that can be used to literally drive someone around. If someone puts the club at the wheel of his car and climbed into the back seat of a chauffeur waiting to be specific destination, or simply driving around in general, to be a very, very, very long wait. After all, a golf club, not someone to drive cars. No arms or legs, or has its eyes or ears. You will note no mention of a brain, but that's because so many people in the path which do not seem to have an operation brain while driving.
Moreover, a driver (golf club) is a great way to get the ball through the links on the golf course. A ball and hit can travel more than three hundred meters. However, this kind of power driving is more common in the Professional Golf Association (PGA) tour. The average golfer is doing well to hit the ball two hundred and fifty to two hundred seventy-five yards from the tee and these units are not to be ashamed.
There is no set distance average of the holes on the golf course, which makes driving in different courses a major challenge, in some cases. Some par-4 holes can be as short as two hundred eighty-five meters, while others may be closer than five hundred meters long. Either way, a disk drive and success is necessary to do well in the golf game.
The basic idea of driving the golf ball is to keep the ball in the fairway, out of the rough and avoiding sand traps, and definitely stay away from danger the watercourse may have to offer. This concept, however, is easier said than done. After all, the less What little can affect the concentration of golfers. This can result in the ball being, fingers, or hit the front of the driver, or heel, which is when the ball leaves the rear of the driver. Those are the bad things.
Toeing a drive sent the ball sharply to the right if the player is right handed, or left if the player is a lefty. Consequently, a large unit that hit the heel of the club go to the left of the player with the right hand and right for left-handed.
No limit yourself by refusing to learn the details about Golf Drivers. The more you know, the easier it is to focus on what matters.

Golf fitness exercises to train the core can improve your golf swing. Many questions from golfers exist on what are the best golf exercises to train the core for the golf swing. Today, we are going to answer these questions and provide some beneficial golf fitness exercises for the core. First and foremost we must understand what is the core. The core is simply a reference to an anatomical area of the body. Essentially, it is all the muscles, bones, and nerves from just above your knees to slightly below the chest. Not only does it include muscles on the front of your body such as the abdominals. It includes the muscles on the sides and back of your body. This would include muscles in the hips, glutes, obliques, and lower back.
Now that we have a basic understanding of what the core entails, let us answer the next question; why is the core important for the golf swing. The execution of the golf swing requires you to maintain a set spine angle and specific postural positions. For example, the ability to maintain a set spine angle in the swing requires postural stabilization strength. Postural stabilization strength is the ability to maintain a specific postural or body position during movement. The ability to complete this physical task effectively rests upon the muscular strength and endurance of your core. If your core musculature is lacking strength the ability to maintain a consistent spine angle will be compromised.
In addition, during the golf swing the core creates muscular force in a rotational pattern. This force is transferred into the golf club during execution of the swing. The power developed by your core, and the power created within the mechanics of your swing will determine your clubhead speed.
As you can see from the information above the core is directly connected the biomechanics of the golf swing as well as the creation of clubhead speed. That being said, it goes without saying certain levels of muscular strength, endurance, power, and coordination are required from this area of the body. The process by which we can develop these physical parameters within the core is through golf specific fitness exercises.
Golf specific fitness exercises will train the core section of body to the positions, movements, and physical requirements of the golf swing. Stabilization and rotation are key components of such exercises. Basic exercises I often recommend to develop the core for golf are; Prone Holds, Bent Knee Back Holds, Seated Russian Twists, Jack Knife’s, and Alternating Arm and Leg Extensions. All of these exercises train the required components of the core for the golf swing.
Keep in mind the core is an anatomical area of the body where the majority of the movements within the golf swing occur. As a result this section of the body must be flexible, strong, and powerful in order to execute the golf swing correctly. Golf fitness exercises focusing upon the core can create these needed physical parameters within the body to improve your golf swing. There is no doubt the utilization of golf exercises to improve the strength, endurance, power, and flexibility in your core will improve your golf game.
